Do you go to bed each night scared about waking up tomorrow? Or you go
to bed, completely relaxed with a smile on your face, eager to wake up
in the morning to face the new day? Those few minutes between hitting
the bed and falling asleep are great moments to assess our lives as to
"how far we have come and where we are headed".
If those few minutes can put us into careless slumber, our lives are
quite well-placed. But if they only make you toss and turn and reach out
for the jug of water a zillion times, then there’s something you need
to take stock of.
If you know what is really eating you up. well praise God because there
is every chance you will find a solution to that problem. But if you
cant really tell what is killing you. Then you are pretty up against the
shadows..
A story was once told of a man who traveling a long distance, stopped at
an intersection and asked an elderly man, "Where does this road take
me?" The elderly man asked, "Where do you want to go?" He replied, "I
don't know." The elderly man said, "Then take any road. What difference
does it make?"
It really makes no difference if you are given the greatest map and the
fastest ride to every destination in the world. If you don't know why
you decided to go. It would only help you get to the wrong destination
very fast.
It is just like a man whose dog used to sit by the roadside waiting for
vehicles to come around. As soon as one came he would run down the road,
barking and trying to overtake it. One day a neighbor asked the man "Do
you think your dog is ever going to catch a car?" The man replied,
"That is not what bothers me. What bothers me is what he would do if he
ever caught one."
If you are accelerating very fast at things in life but cant really tell
what you are really trying to achieve. If you are doing very well in
life but don't seem to be happy within. If you are try to do something
but always wind up never executing what you set out to do.. then click

Different things drive different people to success. But, there are two
things that cut across all borders of space, time and distance in
changing a mans life. And they are (1) Acknowledging you have a need in
life, and (2) Opening up to learn how to fulfill that need.
If you want to sit and brood that life is toying with you in every way
possible, it is. But if you plan to take things in your hands and not
let life jerk you around, it won’t. It is entirely in your hands.
When life strikes you down and your life seems out of place, always keep
in mind that adversity is the diamond dust that heaven polishes its
jewels with.
Be blessed.
